Cookie Control v9.11 is now released!
We are happy to announce that the latest version of Cookie Control, v9.11, is now released including increased support for altering the Cookie Control cookie, updates to our IAB TCF implementation and bug fixes.
Dear Cookie Control users,
The latest version of Cookie Control v9.11, is now released.
- We have updated our implementation of the Transparency Consent Framework to align with the IAB TCF v2.3 changes, mainly the 'Disclosed Vendors' section becoming mandatory within the TC string.
- It is now possible to set whether Cookie Control's own cookie will be marked as Secure using the secureCookie property within the Cookie Control configuration.
- Additionally, the cookie that Cookie Control uses to store user preferences can be renamed, by utilising the ccCookie property within the configuration.

Please note that if your code refers to a specific version of Cookie Control, you will need to update to v9.11. Check details here. If you are using version 9.x. changes will be applied automatically the following days.
Customers using the WP plugin or the Drupal module will receive the updates of the new version automatically ahead of the IAB TCF v2.3 deadline (28 February 2026).
Finally, we'd like to share some exciting news - Cookie Control v10 will be out very soon with a full set of automations for configuration and deployment! Stay tuned and our annoncement will follow via mass mailing.
